Grace Rosher does automatic writing with a pen lying lightly on her hand. Her gift first made itself manifest after her fiancé died when, pausing after finishing a perfectly normal letter, she discovered to her surprise that the pen was moving by itself! The handwriting was that of her deceased fiancé, Gordon Burdick.
In 1961, Grace Rosher published a book entitled "Beyond the Horizon" about her experiences. It contains the communication from Gordon Burdick, through automatic writing. Gordon describes in detail what his life is like in the Spirit World. She recounts her bewilderment at this perplexing and unexpected phenomenon, and after much hesitation, her eventual acceptance of the experience.
In 1968, Grace Rosher's second book, The Travellers' Return, was published. She relates many remarkable instances of communications from the so-called dead, not only from her fiancé and her own family, but from eminent figures who answer profound questions and describe the conditions of the present surroundings. Miss Rosher is now firmly convinced that death cannot separate those who love one another, whatever their religious beliefs may be.
