Thoughts Really Are Things (Energy)!
| On Friday afternoon, December 14, 2012, after learning of the tragedy in Newtown, CT, Spirit impressed upon me to make changes in the upcoming Sunday Service in New Jersey. The lecture I had prepared seemed inappropriate in light of what had just happened. We needed to make a positive impact. I decided to lead a healing meditation for the people in Newtown, CT, the USA, and the world. After our traditional healing service, I asked the congregants to arrange their chairs in a circle. I explained what we were about to do. Carl had often taught us, “Thoughts are things (energy).” We would join hands, blend our energy, and, as a group, create a dome of healing energy over Newtown, the USA, and the world. Carol, one of the congregants, had taken a course about this kind of meditation, and I asked her to speak about how working in a group increases the impact of the energy exponentially. Then, she asked if she could place a bowl of water in the middle of the circle. After this, she removed her necklace and used it as a pendulum over the water. The pendulum moved in a straight line very slowly over the bowl of water. Then, we joined hands and sent out the healing energy. I have no memory of what I said, but I also had everyone say their personal prayer. After we finished, Carol placed her pendulum over the water. Much to my amazement, the pendulum began rapidly flying in a circle around the bowl of water. It was most impressive. | |

| After this meditation, I went into a trance and Rev. Carl Hewitt addressed the tragedy and the upcoming alignment of the planets. | |
