In December 1880, The National Tribune newspaper of Washington, D.C., published an article titled “Washington's Vision.” The article describes an event during the Revolutionary War in which General George Washington had a vision of the future of the United States. I obtained a copy of this story from the Library of Congress in 1980. I recently came across it and decided to post it here.
