These blog posts come from the Spirit of Carl R. Hewitt, the founder of Gifts of the Spirit Center. For 25 years, Carl dedicated his life to the center, teaching all who crossed his path about mediumship and the Gifts of the Spirit. Carl made his transition to the Spirit World on January 26, 2005. We have learned through various mediums that Carl has continued on this mission in the Spirit World. Now, he is teaching departed Spirits in his dimension how to communicate with their loved ones in the physical world!

In 2006, I [Sidney Schwartz] began developing my own mediumship. I found an affinity for being a trance medium. In April 2021, we started a new format for our monthly meetings, where people could email questions for Spirit to answer. Carl began the sessions by addressing the attendees. I speak these words, but they are from Carl’s mind. These “opening monologues” make up the posts on this blog.

As I transcribed these messages, I soon discovered they needed editing. There is a difference between what one finds acceptable when hearing and reading a message. Often, small grammatical mistakes are made, or the wrong choice of words is spoken. Carl’s words have been edited to address these errors. The intent of his words has not been changed, but his message becomes clearer for the reader through this slight editing.

I began transcribing the messages from the oldest and worked my way to the present. I was amazed to learn that Carl must have planned to use these monologues to teach us. Just as you cannot teach first graders algebra or calculus before they learn to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, Carl seemed to plant a seed and then build upon it in the next lesson. There is definitely a progression, a sequence to what he presents. Therefore, I highly recommend that you read these blogs, from the oldest to the newest, to follow Carl’s “lesson plan” that he developed to help guide and assist us from the World of Spirit.
