I met Ria Hennink when I was taking classes at the Arthur Findlay College of Mediumship in Essex, England, in 2006. We were assigned to give mediumistic readings to each other. Ria brought through my great-grandfather, Herman Teper, who was executed during the Holocaust. She described him in great detail. We have been friends ever since. Ria and her husband live in Switzerland.

Besides her mediumistic skills, she is also an accomplished artist. This allows her to be a Spirit Artist. She receives information from the Spirit both clairvoyantly and clairsentiently, and can then draw or paint the Spirit's image. She once sent me a picture of another great-grandfather, Samuel Frost. It was a very accurate likeness of him. Many years later, Samuel appeared to Ria again, and this time she painted his portrait.

Ria was born in the Netherlands, but now lives in Switzerland. She is also an author. Many of her books are in Dutch and German. However, one of her books has been translated into English; it is entitled "Your Child in a Different Light: Why Your Child Needs a Spiritual Education."
