Star of Corinth
On July 7, 1977, Gifts of the Spirit Church held its first Sunday Service in the kitchen of the building that Carl Hewitt owned and where he ran his beauty salon at 1595 Route 85, Chesterfield, CT.
Spirit had shown Carl a vision to use as the logo for the newly established Church. Carl had a friend draw the vision. On October 29, 1977, Carl held a Seminar entitled Psychic Pathways, using the drawing for the cover of the program.
Shortly afterwards, Carl asked another church member, Paul Abernathy, to do a 2nd drawing of his vision. This version has been used ever since, with modifications made to the lettering and then finally adding color to the image.
In February 1996, Carl and I traveled to Greece, and we visited Corinth. Corinth is located by a body of water called Corinth Bay.
We visited some of the ancient ruins…
… and then found a hotel. Corinth is a seaside resort, but since it was February, it was off season, and it seemed like a “ghost town.”
Once we got settled in the hotel, I decided to go out to get some snacks and a bottle of wine. I began to walk, but realized it would be easier to drive. Since the town was so deserted, I had no apprehension about driving. I bought some wine, bread, cheese, and olives, and drove back to the hotel.
Our room had a balcony, which overlooked Corinth Bay. We took the table and chairs outside and sat on the balcony. It was a glorious day, bright and sunny.
Suddenly, Carl said, “Look at that!” I looked at the cloud formation in the sky. I was utterly stunned. There in the sky was a formation that closely resembled the logo that appears on the Gifts of the Spirit Church programs. I immediately grabbed my camera and photographed this miraculous sight in the sky.
As we gazed at the sky, we were utterly astounded that Spirit had recreated our church logo in the sky. We knew that this symbol was just for us. It was truly a unique experience.
Two weeks after I returned home from Greece, I suddenly had an epiphany. Gifts of the Spirit Church’s name came from the Bible when Saint Paul proclaimed that he did not want people ignorant of the Gifts of the Spirit. That quote is found in the first verse of Chapter 12 of the first book of Corinthians. Paul was writing this letter to the people of Corinth when he made that dramatic statement.
Carl and I were sitting on a balcony overlooking the Gulf of Corinth, with the city of Corinth at the far shore. The symbol of our Church was in the sky over the town of Corinth, the city whose inhabitants Paul had addressed nearly 2000 years before, emphasizing the importance of the Gifts of the Spirit. It was a full-circle moment.
Since January 2025, I have been working on updating our website by redesigning it using current software. It has been about 95% complete for about a month and a half. However, Spirit insisted that the website needed to be published in Consciousness before it is physically published.
I was confused about what that meant. However, when Susan, Sandy, Carol, and I met on Zoom to do the Consciousness Gathering together, Susan explained we should set the intention of publishing the website into the Akash of The ONE I AM.
About a week ago, when we were listening to the Conscious Gathering recording, I began having a vision of the image that Carl and I saw over Corinth Bay evaporating, like steam, into the void, which is the nothingness of Everything of infinity. I also heard the sound that a modem made back in the day, when logging onto the internet.
Vision of July 31, 2025
I was listening to the Consciousness gathering with Susan over Zoom. As I was again watching the image Carl and I saw over Corinth Bay being evaporated, like steam, into the void, the image changed, and I suddenly saw one of the hundreds of Bible illustrations I have collected over the years. I saw the Star of Bethlehem guiding the three wise men to Bethlehem, the site where Jesus was born. What made the wise men wise were the understanding and use of mediumistic gifts.
Then I was told that this image that we saw over Corinth was the Star of Corinth. Just as the star of Bethlehem led the wise men to Jesus, the Star of Corinth would lead people seeking the truth to the actual teachings of Jesus, the knowledge of the Spirit, and the ONE I AM.
When Jesus walked the Earth, his students asked when he would return. Here is how it appears in the Christian Standard Bible.
3 While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” [CSB].
44 This is why you are also to be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. [CSB].
It is not the hour that you do not expect, but the way Jesus will return. Jesus is NOT going to reincarnate into a physical body to return to Earth. His actual teachings will be revealed and put into practice once again.
When Pauline Christians through the Catholic Church hijacked all Christian thought, they used man-made dogmas to camouflage Jesus’ actual teachings to the point that /only a very few sentences of his actual teachings can be found in the Bible.
Fortunately, the followers of the Gnostic teachings of Jesus protected their manuscripts containing Jesus’ actual teachings by putting them in clay jars and buried them in the desert. They lay there for approximately 1600 years, until 1945 when they were discovered and dug up. These texts are called the Nag Hammadi Library.
The Star of Corinth, which is also the Gifts of the Spirit Center, will lead people to the actual teachings of Jesus. This will occur by following the instructions from Jesus, the Council of Engma, and Mother Source and Father Creator, that is channeled through Susan St. Jean.
Epilogue
Carl and I had always planned that we would visit Athens, then rent a car and drive to Delphi, see the site of the Oracle of Delphi. Our next stop would be Dodona, to visit the site of the Oracle of Dodona, which is by the Albanian border. Then we’d drive back to Athens.
We were on our drive back to Athens, and when we saw a scenic overlook. We decided to stop. The view was unique. Everything was blue –the sky and the Ionian Sea. And I took out my camera to take a picture. I was looking through my camera, about to take a picture of this beautiful scene.
Meanwhile, a car had pulled into the scenic overlook. As soon as I clicked the picture, I heard a woman speaking to me, but she was speaking Greek. For some reason, that annoyed me. I don’t know why. And I turned around, and instead of answering her in an annoyed voice, I just calmly said to her, “Lady, I don’t speak Greek.”
And immediately, she said, “Do you know where the ferry boat is? How far is it to the dock for the ferry boat?
And I said, “What ferry boat?”
She said, “There’s a ferry boat. Where are you going?
And I said, “We’re going back to Athens.’
Then she said, “Oh, follow this road down, and eventually, you’ll see a sign for the ferry port. And you take the ferry across the bay, it’ll save you hours of driving to Athens.”
And at the end of the ferry boat ride was the city of Corinth. We hadn’t planned to go there.
So if it wasn’t for this lady talking to us, we never would have visited Corinth, and never would have seen this miraculous picture of the Star of Corinth. And 26 years later, we would never have had this message about the Star of Corinth. None of this would have transpired. So it is incredible how Spirit orchestrated everything.
At our last GOTSC Gathering, I discussed The Star of Corinth and shared the information in this blog post. Later during the Gathering, I went into trance, and Carl spoke through me, and referred to the story of The Star of Corinth. This is what he said.
“As you discussed today, Spirit orchestrates events to happen. Certain events occur so that you can receive a message from them. As you could see today, events that played out over 25 years ago have affected what happens now. For us [Spirit], there is no time. Those 25 years were the blink of an eye. Although you marvel at the synchronicity as you call it, for us, it is just putting the thought out there and watching it manifest in your physical world. This is how we accomplish these things.”
I first presented this information at the GOTSC Gathering on August 2, 2025. After I finished, Susan St. Jean told me that what Carl andI had seen those 29 years previously was The ONE I AM, making Itself known to us.
