On July 7, 1977, a group of people gathered at 1595 Hartford Turnpike in Chesterfield, CT, and participated in the very first service of Gifts of the Spirit Church. Forty years later, on the exact date, another group of people gathered to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of that occasion. We took time to honor our founder, Rev. Carl R. Hewitt, and remember our church's milestones. This special service was held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 224 Gold Star Highway, Groton, CT. Four mediums participated in this service, sharing their unique gifts with those who had gathered. This very special evening will always be treasured.
