Awan is an ascended master who spoke through Rev. Carl R. R. Hewitt while in a trance state. Awan refused to give us his actual name because he claimed that a new religion was created whenever a human talked to an angel. Since there are over 11,000 religions already on this planet, Awan did not want another one made. Therefore, he said we could call him Awan, an acronym for Angel Without A Name.
